This
decimal switch was originally design for military Manpack Radio applications
but now used extensively in professional electronics.
It is available for PCB mounting with solder pillar terminals. It
has a 25 mm square body with the tags in line with the spindle, in 10
12 or 16 positions with 1 to 4 poles. Shorting or non-shorting switching
is standard with the usual options of torque, stopped positions and
sealing available.

SPRING
RETURN All of WASP rotary switches have the option of being fitted with
a spring return facility. This can be fitted at either end of the operation
and allows for a test of secure position. PULL-TO-TURN
The Pull-to-Turn addition is available on the DB, DC, and DR range of
switches and allows for the design such that one or both end positions
can only be entered if the spindle is pulled before turning. This gives
a totally secure position that cannot be entered accidentally. This
is available as a panel and spindle sealed switch. PUSH-TO-TURN
The Push-to-Turn addition is available on the DC, and DR range of switches
and can be designed to allow movement into an end position by pushing
the spindle before turning. This gives a position that defines a new
function e.g. testing and standard sealing is still an option.

PUSH
BUTTON On all ranges, WASP can provide a Push Button facility that can be operated
in each position by pushing the spindle. This design is achieved with a complete
panel and spindle seal. DUAL CONCENTRIC
All the WASP ranges of switches are available with dual concentric spindle,
which can be used for a potentiometer or an additional rotary switch. This
allows far greater switching capacity for the same panel area and can be supplied
with full panel and spindle sealing.
